Country Poetry Corner

The countryside of the United Kingdom is a special place. It displays beauty in the varied landscape and the wide variety of flora and fauna. We are very privileged to live and work in this green and pleasant land.

Gamekeepers not only care for the balance of nature in the wide variety of habitats, but are also keen observers of what happens in them. Watching how the landscape changes, bringing new growth and new life into our countryside.

Some of these stalwarts of the British countryside also commit their observations to prose and we have gathered their poetry for you to enjoy.

If you too have written poetry about the countryside why not send it to us at info@gamekeeperstrust.org.uk
