CountryFile Live

The ‘BBC Countryfile Live’ was held over four days at the historic Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. This spectacular event comprised of live arena shows, hands on activities, animal displays, debates, food, drink and shopping. The show brought together everything visitors cherish about our countryside, from wildlife and farming, to outdoor pursuits and food, for everyone to enjoy. As such it was an excellent event for the NGO and the NGO Educational Trust to attend.

The Educational Trust has just spent the four days explaining the role of the gamekeeping profession in conservation and habitat management in the countryside. With help from some terrific volunteers around the Educational Trust display of habitat and species management the response was extremely positive from the public.

It is really good to know that the Educational Trust display is such a popular and important part of the gamekeeping zone and is recognised as such by nearly everyone.
