Bellamy award 2014 at CLA Blenheim

The Bellamy Award

On a blisteringly hot and humid day the at the CLA Gamefair the winner of the 2014 NGO Educational Trusts's 'Bellamy Award', Alex Hogg, was presented with the trophy and a cheque for 250 by well-known personality Alan Titchmarsh.

Quite a crowd had gathered in the NGO stand to see the trophy handed over to Alex Hogg who is undoubtedly a vastly respected keeper in fact he is regarded by many as a giant in the field but what makes his contribution to the profession so special is his passionate belief in good land management and its importance in promoting gamekeeping.

As the citation for the trophy reads: - for the person who has shown initiative in promoting the important role of gamekeeping in sustainable countryside management.

Alex Hogg certainly fills that role.
