Heather Moorland Lesson Plans

introductory Lesson Plan

The NGO ET is delighted to add the first in a series of lesson plans about the beautiful Heather Moorlands.

Once again, created by teacher, Nicola Sutton, the introductory lesson plan provides teachers with the guidance to make the best use of the fabulous resources about the Heather Moorlands. Nicola's work has provided the important link between our fact-filled resources and the classroom, making it easier for teachers to utilise those resources in a way that meets the demands of the National Curriculum.

This lesson plan guides teachers and students alike on a journey of exploration into this beautiful, fragile environment. Students will be introduced to the habitat, flora and fauna, before delving into more detail in the forthcoming resources.

Nicola will continue to work with the NGO ET to produce further Heather Moorland lesson plans.
